The Anjuman-e-Fakhri Masjid Mosque was built in Mississauga. Construction concluded in 2016, leading to its official opening in December 2017. The architectural masterwork has been customized with Luvindow specialty shape alu-clad wood windows and doors in rich brown tones, accompanied by high-efficiency Low-E double glazing tailored specifically to the structural heritage of the mosque.
These specialty shape and carved glass windows were manufactured in a refined keystone arch configuration, featuring intricate sunburst ray woodwork meticulously crafted in solid red oak. This bespoke installation provides both soundproofing and optimal thermal protection throughout the sacred venue.
With arched tops, bottom rectangles, and true-divided lites, the specialty windows not only strengthened the visual aesthetics of the architecture but also helped transform the mosque into an authentic sanctuary for congregation members.
As for the opening mechanism, we engineered double-sash tilt & turn window assemblies. These provide superior resilience against blustery weather while ensuring tight air seals, versatile ventilation options, and smooth accessibility. Tilt and turn units deliver an impenetrable airtight seal when closed. They can tilt inwards from the top for secure draft-free ventilation or swing completely open inward like a casement on fair-weather days, providing significant energy efficiency.
With long, freezing winters in Toronto, windows with robust heat retention are essential. Solid timber offers naturally superior thermal insulation properties and remains highly favored for residential and historic designs. Wood-framed assemblies deliver excellent frame U-factors within the range of 0.3 to 0.5 Btu/hr-sq. ft-°F. Every profile supplied by Luvindow strictly follows US building codes.
To overcome the vulnerability of natural timber to weathering and moisture damage, Luvindow incorporates exterior-grade architectural aluminum cladding on our Wood+ Series. The exterior aluminum shell provides maintenance-free durability, while preserving the organic timber grain inside. The seamless corner-welding technique ensures all corners bond invisibly, creating a stronger structural weld and a sleek exterior surface.
Backing over a decade of excellence in luxury window crafting, Luvindow provides an extensive timber portfolio including Pine, Oak, Cherry, Larch, Maple, Mahogany, and Teak. We finish our components using German eco-friendly water-based paints that safeguard indoor air quality while accentuating authentic grain textures. Woods are strictly certified at their points of origin: our Oak and Pine are sourced from the USA or Canada, and Teak is procured from Southeast Asia.
Our integrated glazing units (IGU) incorporate dual-pane tempered safety glass, warm-edge composite spacers, argon gas filling, and Low-E thermal coatings. Applied across the Anjuman-e-Fakhri Masjid Mosque, these units foster a serene and thermally balanced sanctuary while substantially reducing ongoing heating and electrical utility costs.
Luvindow employs modern precision sandblasting technology to render customized decorative artwork directly into glass panels. Whether crafting geometric religious emblems or clean architectural patterns for corporate spaces, our specialized glass studio realizes customized design visions.
With ten years of dedicated service in North America, Luvindow delivers custom engineering support at realistic project pricing. We provide comprehensive, complimentary CAD and BIM shop drawings covering plan views, elevations, anchor point connections, and perimeter installation details.
Prior to fabrication, verified sample drawings are produced to outline frame cross-sections, precision millwork dimensions, hinge orientations, warm spacer details, and installation nodes. Manufacturing only begins following client sign-off, ensuring total compliance with field specifications.
